Have u ever wondered whats the meaning behind ur name?

Why dat name is given to u by ur parents when u were born?

I been wondering where on earth i get the name 'Sham'.

Why suddenly i began to think eh...

Well, one of my customer (not sure which part of the world she came from) notice my name on my name tag 'Hisham'. Den she ask me. Do u noe dat ur name is an Egypt name.
Wat??!! I was stunned. Den she continue such a nice name bla bla bla.. Anyway she doesn't look like Arabic nor African. Kinda of mix blood. okay enuf..

So i went home research n found out my name is actually at one of the known cities in Egypt name as 'Sharm'. It is in between Saudi & Egypt. Cool..?! Shocking!!

Ok rewind a bit. When i was during my secondary school, My mum told me nenek (grandma) dunno which side of my parents mum was the one who name me by dat name. She told me while nenek visit Mecca doing her pilgrimage she visit one cities name Sham. (i dunno it was Sharm until now). So wen she get back home my mum gave birth to me (of cos in October). Since my nenek like the city 'Sharm' and kept thinking of it, she ask my mum to gave the name Sham. A bit of editing 'Hisham'(malay+jawa style). So at dat time i was not dat curious to find out where the heck is Sham or Sharm. So now den i noe....

No wonder dat lady told me it is an Egypt word or name......
