ZAKAT FITRAH

Zakat is the third Principle of Islam and is compulsory to all Muslims. It is neither a TAX or a CHARITY. It is, in fact a combination of the two - a welfare and social tax for charity, for the needy in society.

Methods of Payment
Cash payment made to respective mosque
Online payment from website
AXS Machine
GIRO deduction

There are many methods of payment but i still prefer to pay dem by cash hand to hand. Cos the feeling is der. Why? When u visit the mosque and into the office, sum1 will receive ur cash in hand. Den they will shake ur hands like normal routine for muslims. Den dey will reward u with sum doa(bless) for u and for ur family. U see de difference. U will neva get the kind of feeling if u pay thru GIRO, AXS or online although it is convenient.The price will be depend of ur grade of rice intake in the family. Dunno how dey calculate. It is in the range of $3.50-$4.50 per person. For those who did fast in the month of Ramadhan with ur heart, please do this. Add more pahala for ur gd deeds. At least we feel great celebrating Raya later on.
