Yes 5 years it have been the last time i touch a skimboard back during my ite days. Aniwae if u guys dunno wat a skimboard is. It looks like the surfboard those surfer use out in the beach at certain countries. But in Spore the wave is not dat high & strong so we juz skim thru the small waves by the side of the beach. It is a mini Surfing i muz say.

Back to my skim part. Well one of my friend, Haidil called me up and ask me whether i wanna join him go skim. Actually he juz started to skim so he ask me along. We proceed to East Coast, survey the area where the wave is ShiOOOook.. Den within minutes we are oredi in the water. My first few tries we like damn rusty. As we practice longer we get used to it n njoys it. Oh yah.. we met some other regular skimmers der. Dey are friendly though and skillful. Dey practices 3times a week so dat xplains it. The fun part bout skimming was the moment when we glide along the surface of the water and tries to beat the oncoming waves. And if we cant beat the waves, it can juz swept u away and make u fly into the water. It was fun though. A couple of people were watching us but we didnt notice it at first. Ah who cares.. Important is we njoys it. Mayb if i got enuf savings, i wanna get a skimboard for myself and regularly visit the beach. ;p . Well i was born to play all kinds of sports. THis is wat i call fun... Mayb sum of u wont agree wif me.

Den at night, met Fen at expo to watch a kompang competiton held S'pore Expo. Aniwae kompang is the one of the Malay arts where u can find in those wedding ceremony. My former kompang group which i join during my secondary school days named, Firqatul Wannazam, was the host of the competition. Met some of my old mates who r still involved in the group. Der are also sum performance and songs dat bring me memories of my kompang playing days. Missed those days.
